Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate MEP Engineer (PE) with deep expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to contribute to a wide variety of commercial real estate projects.
You will play a critical role in assessing building systems, advising clients on capital planning, reviewing designs, and supporting sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with A/E teams to conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) and Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs)

Assist in developing annual capital and maintenance budgets for clients

Perform peer reviews of MEP design documents

Conduct energy audits, commissioning, and forensic evaluations

Provide evaluations and recommendations on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

Interface with clients and contractors during site visits and ongoing project work

Contribute to a diverse portfolio of commercial, municipal, and institutional projects
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (MEP specialty)

Professional Engineer (PE) license required

10+ years of experience in MEP system design, consulting, or building evaluation

Proven experience in project management and leadership roles

Expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems; solid understanding of electrical systems

Familiarity with national and state building codes

Experience with energy audits, commissioning, or sustainability consulting is a plus

LEED AP or CEM certification preferred

Proficiency in Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and Box

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities

Passion for sustainability and cross-discipline collaboration
Physical Requirements

Walk through active construction sites and rough terrain

Ascend/descend ladders and access confined spaces
