We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer with deep technical knowledge and a proven ability to independently deliver engineering services from conceptual design through construction. This role plays a key part in large-scale mechanical system installations and requires strong coordination skills, design precision, and a high level of structural expertise.
Essential Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering for large or multiple concurrent projects from concept through completion.

Perform field engineering duties, including problem-solving, site coordination, and document management.

Prepare and stamp PE installation packages (with BOMs) for:

Equipment anchorage

Vibration isolation systems
-
Rooftop duct/pipe supports
-
Riser duct/pipe supports
-
Seismic restraints for duct/pipe

Supplemental steel and skids
-

Conduct roof structure verifications for equipment replacements.

Apply seismic bracing design and structural calculations aligned with code requirements.

Collaborate across project teams (PM, construction, service, controls, etc.).

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Develop templates and standard design packages to drive efficiency.

Maintain full project compliance with internal standards, codes, and best practices.

Qualifications

B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering.

Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design.

PE license preferred (must be obtained shortly after hire if not currently held).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and 3D modeling tools.

In-depth knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals, seismic design, and construction methods.

Physical Requirements

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

One-hour lunch and two paid breaks.

Occasional overtime based on project demands.
