Position Overview:
As a senior-level leader, you will be responsible for the strategic delivery of high-value, technically complex construction work—either a single project exceeding $200 million or a portfolio of similarly challenging projects. Your leadership ensures excellence across seven key pillars: project administration, financial performance, schedule management, risk mitigation, relationship cultivation, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Project Administration

Lead kickoff and client/team meetings; document minutes and action items

Manage project start‑up, submittal reviews, status reports, maintenance materials, and close-out deliverables

Conduct routine site visits to monitor performance and adherence to standards
Financial Performance

Establish and refine execution strategies and proposals in partnership with Finance and Field Ops

Continuously monitor costs and budgets; flag risks early and recommend corrective actions

Oversee procurement strategies; ensure optimal pricing and terms while maintaining quality and safety

Manage change orders and review project cost files monthly with the Site Manager
Schedule Performance

Oversee master schedule development and updates; ensure alignment with contracts

Coordinate schedule reviews with Field Ops, Engineering, and Design teams; mitigate delays

Document and formalize delays or requests for extensions
Risk Management

Ensure full understanding and compliance with contract terms across all project disciplines

Lead development of specific risk mitigation plans that cover safety, quality, schedule, and budget

Monitor risk mitigation plans and proactively guide corrective action with project teams
Relationship Management

Serve as the escalation point for issues beyond Project Manager level

Develop and manage relationship plans with clients, subs, and design teams

Uphold high standards of courtesy, respect, and your organization’s core values internally and externally
Team Development

Ensure alignment with company vision and values

Monitor team cohesion; mentor PMs, Sr. PMs, and developing project staff

Lead onboarding and career development initiatives for project leads
Collaboration

Foster strong collaboration with Engineering, Design, Field Ops, and other Project Executives

Provide regular updates to Regional Leadership and Organizational Directors
Required Qualifications

BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent experience

At least 7 years of project financial accountability on multiple complex projects

Minimum 5 years managing design/build or hard-bid projects across multiple construction delivery methods (GMP, lump sum, cost-plus, etc.)

Proven track record of enhancing project profitability from initial proposal through close-out

Experience overseeing projects that included equipment procurement/installation valued over $2 million

Demonstrated ability to estimate design/build industrial work and develop aggressive schedules

Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project), and a strong grasp of contract language and financials
