Position Overview
We’re seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to join a high-performing engineering team delivering comprehensive electrical design solutions across a wide range of construction projects.
This is a full lifecycle role—from design initiation through construction and commissioning—where you’ll have the opportunity to lead design efforts, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
If you’re a proactive, detail-oriented engineer who enjoys both technical design and team leadership, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your impact in a flexible, remote environment.
What You’ll Do
Design electrical systems across residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and healthcare projects.
Develop power distribution plans, including circuiting, equipment layouts, one-line diagrams, and backup power systems.
Design lighting systems, including fixture selection, layouts, photometric analysis, and controls.
Support design and coordination of special systems, including fire alarm and low-voltage integration.
Perform engineering calculations such as short circuit, coordination studies, and load analysis.
Develop detailed, code-compliant construction documents and specifications (Divisions 26, 27, 28).
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Mentor junior staff and review designs for quality and compliance.
Provide support during construction, including RFIs, submittals, and site coordination.
What We’re Looking For
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S. (eligible for Wyoming reciprocity).
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design.
Strong proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office tools.
Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 101, and other applicable electrical codes.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Why This Role Stands Out
Fully remote position with flexibility across U.S. time zones.
Opportunity to work on diverse, technically complex projects.
Involvement in the entire project lifecycle, from concept through commissioning.
Strong emphasis on team collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth.
