Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join a well-established and growing electrical contracting organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating and bidding a variety of commercial and public projects, delivering precise, competitive, and timely estimates.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive and accurate electrical estimates for commercial, institutional, and public projects.

Perform detailed take-offs and full reviews of project plans and specifications.

Deliver completed estimates within required timeframes and meet bid deadlines.

Solicit and evaluate competitive vendor and subcontractor quotations in alignment with project documents.

Develop and submit estimating RFIs to clarify project scope or requirements.

Gather and maintain market intelligence on competitors and general contractors.

Participate in pre-bid meetings and job walks as directed.

Present completed estimates and estimating strategies during project kickoff meetings.

Support other estimators and assist with multiple concurrent bids as necessary.

Maintain strict confidentiality of estimating data, pricing strategies, and internal methodologies.

Build and nurture strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and vendors.

Engage in industry workshops and training sessions as approved by management.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating (commercial, institutional, or public sector projects preferred).

Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction drawings, and specifications.

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
