Position Overview

We’re seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join a collaborative engineering team delivering high-quality HVAC and plumbing design solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the full project lifecycle—from initial design through construction and commissioning—while also mentoring junior staff and contributing to technical excellence.

If you’re a motivated engineer who enjoys both design work and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment, this is a strong opportunity for growth and impact.

What You’ll Do

Design HVAC and plumbing systems across residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and healthcare projects.

Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system life-cycle cost analysis.

Develop detailed, code-compliant construction documents for permitting and construction.

Support construction administration, including site visits, RFIs, submittals, and project closeout.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Write and edit specifications (CSI Divisions 22 & 23).

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complete and accurate designs.

Mentor junior staff and review work for quality and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in mechanical and plumbing design.

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit (Revit preferred).

Strong understanding of building codes and industry standards (IBC, ASHRAE, IAPMO, etc.).

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Why This Role Stands Out

Work on diverse, technically challenging projects across multiple industries.

Opportunity to be involved in the entire project lifecycle, not just design.
