Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee project operations from a regional office and assigned jobsites. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing projects through all phases to successful completion, while maintaining safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple project components while maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and field teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

  • Review contracts, scopes of work, and special provisions and communicate requirements to project teams

  • Lead project buyout, including obtaining material, subcontractor, and engineering quotes from multiple vendors

  • Coordinate selection of vendors, materials, and equipment

  • Verify quantities, units, and labor hours through reverse takeoffs

  • Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings

  • Develop and maintain construction schedules and coordinate sequencing with field supervision

  • Support and participate in jobsite meetings and site visits as required

  • Perform quantity takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders

  • Track progress, costs, and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

  • Prepare weekly production reports and review job cost reports with foremen and project teams

  • Prepare billings and approve invoices for payment

  • Manage labor control and adjust staffing and production as needed to maximize profitability

  • Coordinate warranties, O&M manuals, and project closeout documentation

  • Complete monthly financial analysis and cost control reporting

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams throughout construction


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Proven ability to identify project risks and proactively manage profitability

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience with Bluebeam, OnScreen Takeoff, and QuickBid

  • Familiarity with critical path scheduling software such as Microsoft Project

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • High level of professionalism and customer service focus

  • Ability to learn new technical skills and apply them effectively


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field

  • OSHA certification

  • Local to the regional office preferred

  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
