Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Specification Sales Representative to represent architectural lighting and controls solutions within Southern Nevada. This is a fully field-based role focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, engineers, designers, and end users to ensure products are specified from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate is polished, relationship-driven, highly organized, and comfortable working independently while managing a large professional network.


Territory

  • Southern Nevada (limited to three counties)

  • Fully on-site and in the field within the Las Vegas market


Key Responsibilities

  • Make in-person presentations to the design community promoting lighting and controls solutions

  • Develop and maintain relationships with:

    • Architects

    • Electrical Engineers

    • Interior Designers

    • Landscape Architects

    • End Users

  • Work collaboratively with factory specialists during joint sales calls

  • Develop lighting fixture schedules and controls solutions in collaboration with design firms

  • Drive product specifications from project inception through completion (“A–Z”)

  • Maintain general understanding of design/bid/build and CMAR construction delivery methods

  • Track projects from early design through bid and award

  • Entertain and engage clients through lunches, breakfasts, dinners, and after-hours events

  • Join and actively participate in relevant industry organizations (company-sponsored)

  • Maintain detailed records of client activity and project status


Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Strong visual and design-oriented mindset

  • Working knowledge of lighting applications software is beneficial

    • AGi32 (preferred, not required)

    • AutoCAD (helpful)

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Professional demeanor with the ability to represent products at a high level

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, relationship-driven role


Work Schedule & Expectations

  • Fully field-based role

  • Accessibility expected between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Typical workday approximately 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Average 50–55 hours per week
