General Tasks / Duties:
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining business within the North American touring market. The candidate must be well versed in all aspects of production sales, be capable of stepping into a fast-pace environment and immediately add to the client base. Below is a general list of the tasks and duties:

  • Cultivate, establish, and maintain business relationships with customers to generate new business for the Company.
  • Understand Company’s current client base and develop and maintain relationships with active customers as directed by Executive team.
  • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and information to determine their potential.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Coordinate sales effort with other members of sales team, executive team, engineering staff, and logistics team.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Identifies advantages and compares this company’s services to the existing marketplace.
  • Plan, organize, and present annual personal sales strategy.
  • Responsible for managing profit and loss of shows within the Flex Rental Software System.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature, consulting with marketing and technical service areas, and attending industry trade shows.
  • Be proficient in Flex Software and utilize it as required per the company’s best practice policies.
  • Help with Special Projects as directed.
  • Expectation is annual sales of $5 – $7.5 million brought into company, with focus on North American touring market.
  • Be present at load-ins and show days of events to provide visibility to client and support frontline engineers and technicians representing this company
  • Some travel may be required for position.

Qualifications and Experience

  • General knowledge of lighting, audio, video, and rigging equipment required.
  • College degree preferred
  • 3 years in production industry, working in teams, and executing large scale live event shows.
  • Experience working with online quoting / sales / inventory management system preferred.
  • Understanding of Vectorworks and CAD drawings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Someone who enjoys building relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful, high-pressure environments.

Schedule / Hours of Work

  • Job is based out of Las Vegas or Los Angeles office; Remote working available for right candidate.
  • Variable; Weekday is normal business hours and in office or out of home office; Weekend is on-site show presence
  • Travel Required

Compensation / Benefits:

  • Salary range is DOE, submissions must have salary requirements included.
  • Benefits include:
    • Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage for all full-time employees and their family. The Company currently subsidizes 50% of the employee’s health premium. The employee is responsible for all other premiums.
    • 401k and 401k matching – currently 4%
    • All benefits subject to change at discretion of Executives.
