Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our electrical construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of multiple small to mid-sized projects—or a single large-scale project. You will lead a team of project managers and assistant project managers, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. This position also plays a key role in business development, helping to strengthen and grow client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

Define project goals, policies, and standards in alignment with company objectives.

Supervise day-to-day administration of projects or manage multiple project managers.

Provide training and mentorship to project staff, ensuring alignment with company values and systems.

Lead the negotiation and management of change orders and project modifications.

Maintain project documentation, including schedules, logs, and costing reports.

Oversee construction progress alongside foremen and area superintendents.

Identify and resolve project risks or issues using company-approved solutions.

Represent the company in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Monitor and manage project financials including billing, budgets, and forecasts.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future business.
What We’re Looking For:

10+ years of project management experience, ideally in electrical construction.

Demonstrated success in overseeing the full project lifecycle from pre-construction to close-out.

Strong leadership and team development capabilities.

Proven ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.

Strong business acumen with experience managing financial performance.

Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.

Comfortable managing both internal teams and external stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, Accubid preferred.

Experience with prefabrication and lean construction strategies is a bonus.

Knowledge of safety regulations and jobsite best practices.

Experience in business development or heavy client-facing roles is a plus.
Travel Requirements:

10%–25% travel based on project needs.
Working Conditions:

Work may be performed in an office setting or on active construction sites.

Job duties require sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 30 lbs), and computer use.

Exposure to varying noise levels and indoor/outdoor environments depending on jobsite conditions.
