We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to support strategic growth in our industry sector. This role will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing relationships, and driving revenue through innovative business strategies. Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Identify and research new markets, sectors, and potential clients.

  • Conduct targeted outreach, including cold calls, email campaigns, and in-person networking, to generate qualified leads.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.

  • Manage and grow a robust pipeline of business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

  • Understand client needs and translate them into tailored service solutions.

  • Maintain ongoing communication to resolve issues, support growth, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Proposal & Contract Development

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create persuasive proposals and presentations.

  • Develop pricing strategies that align with client budgets and business goals.

  • Lead contract negotiations and facilitate smooth onboarding of new clients.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities.

  • Analyze competitor activity and evolving customer demands to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies that position the company as a leader in the space.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, technical experts, and senior leadership to ensure proposed solutions align with company capabilities.

  • May lead or help develop a high-performing sales team as the role evolves.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience: Proven success in business development, sales, or client-facing roles—preferably in facilities services, mechanical, or HVAC industries.

  • Sales Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and grow new business.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Negotiation: Skilled in deal negotiation, pricing strategies, and closing business contracts.

  • Technical Knowledge: General understanding of mechanical/HVAC systems is preferred.

  • Software Proficiency: CRM tools such as Salesforce; Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • Project Management: Effective at managing multiple initiatives and priorities.
