Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in commercial or industrial electrical systems, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple teams and timelines simultaneously. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of assigned electrical construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.

Coordinate project activities with field leadership, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost reports, and resource plans.

Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts; identify scope gaps or discrepancies.

Prepare, submit, and negotiate change orders and RFIs to ensure alignment with client expectations and protect company interests.

Monitor job site progress regularly and implement corrective actions when necessary to stay on track with schedule and budget.

Manage project documentation, including submittals, purchase orders, material tracking, and closeout packages.

Foster and maintain strong client relationships throughout the duration of the project.

Lead project meetings and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with estimating and business development teams on future project opportunities.

Uphold all safety standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electrical construction project management.

Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and construction teams.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction means and methods, and industry best practices.

Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel as needed based on project location.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large-scale commercial, institutional, or mission-critical (e.g., data centers) projects.

Familiarity with lean construction principles and scheduling methodologies.

OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
