Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout. This role demands exceptional leadership, deep industry knowledge, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate excels in team development, financial oversight, client relationship management, and driving operational excellence across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the full project lifecycle for large or complex electrical construction projects (e.g., commercial, industrial, or data center builds).

Direct and mentor teams of project managers, assistant project managers, and support staff to achieve project goals.

Own project financials, including cost forecasting, billing, budget tracking, and risk management.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, phasing plans, and manpower forecasts.

Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements, vendor contracts, and major material procurements.

Maintain high standards of quality control and safety compliance throughout all stages of construction.

Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders.

Strategically resolve project issues, delays, or changes while minimizing financial or reputational impact.

Champion internal processes and ensure adherence to company policies, safety programs, and documentation standards.

Collaborate with executive leadership and business development teams to support long-term growth and client retention.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

8–12+ years of electrical construction project management experience, including supervisory roles.

Strong command of cost control, scheduling, and forecasting for projects ranging from $10M to $150M+.

Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects or one major initiative with complex scopes and timelines.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Proficient in construction management software platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).

Deep knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and construction standards.

Experience in mission-critical facilities (e.g., data centers) strongly preferred.

Ability to travel as needed based on project demands.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience mentoring junior project managers and leading cross-functional teams.

Prior experience with lean construction practices, pre-construction planning, and design-build environments.

OSHA 30 certification or higher.

PMP, LEED, or similar certifications are a plus.
