Position Overview
An established electrical and technology contractor is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Superintendent to oversee and manage turnkey low voltage installations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep technical knowledge across multiple systems and the ability to mentor, coordinate, and lead field teams on complex commercial and institutional projects.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage manpower, ensure quality control, and maintain schedules across multiple ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all low voltage field activities, including manpower allocation, scheduling, and job site leadership.

Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of all low voltage systems to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and project management teams.

Provide technical direction and training to field crews and technicians; ensure continuous skill development.

Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to company safety policies and procedures.

Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and project management teams to resolve technical or scheduling challenges.

Maintain detailed job documentation and progress reports.

Support commissioning and client turnover processes with thorough system verification.
Systems Experience Required

Experience managing Turnkey low voltage projects from design through completion is required.
Qualifications

8+ years of experience in low voltage systems, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.

Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices for each system type listed above.

Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor installation teams.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided).

Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., NICET, BICSI, manufacturer certifications) are a plus.
