Position Summary
This position seeks a highly motivated and self-driven Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to serve in a Project Manager role within a consulting engineering environment. The role involves managing geotechnical projects from proposal through construction, providing technical leadership, client coordination, and oversight of field and laboratory services. Projects include a mix of private/commercial and public-sector work.
Key Responsibilities

Independently manage geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met

Direct and execute geotechnical project assignments, including:

Field exploration programs

Laboratory testing services
-
Intermediate to complex geotechnical analyses

Engineering evaluations and report preparation

Prepare, review, and oversee technical proposals and reports

Ensure client commitments and deliverables are met accurately and on schedule
-
Provide construction-phase consultation, including observations and inspections
-
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution and problem-solving

Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business opportunities
Technical Qualifications & Skills

Strong technical background in geotechnical engineering principles and practice
