Position Overview
Seeking a personable and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to support the Service and Small Projects Division. This role goes beyond estimating—this individual will regularly interact with owners, walk jobs, and help maintain strong customer relationships. Ideal candidates are friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Projects are primarily tenant improvement and small electrical jobs, ranging from a few hundred dollars up to approximately $100,000, depending on experience and comfort level.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare fast-paced electrical estimates for service and small project work

Conduct job walks and interact directly with customers and property owners

Manage multiple estimates simultaneously with short turnaround times

Support design-build projects where full drawings may not be available

Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and clients

Maintain accurate bid documentation using computer-based estimating systems

Build and maintain strong client relationships through daily interaction
Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic electrical estimating knowledge

Prior field experience as an electrician strongly preferred

Computer literate; comfortable working in digital estimating systems

Experience with tenant improvement and small electrical jobs

Software & Tools

Experience with McCormick estimating software is a plus
