Salary

$80,000 – $125,000, depending on experience
Plus year-end bonus

Experience Required

  • Proven Project Management experience supervising 30+ field personnel

  • Experience managing electrical projects ranging from $1MM to $10MM

  • Ability to estimate and bid projects ranging from $10K to $10MM

  • Hands-on experience with Accubid and/or McCormick estimating software

Position Summary

The Electrical Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for preparing accurate electrical estimates while also supporting project execution and field leadership. This role requires strong estimating expertise combined with practical project management experience, including workforce supervision, cost control, and schedule management on mid- to large-scale electrical construction projects.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and competitive electrical estimates for projects ranging from $10K to $10MM

  • Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment

  • Utilize Accubid and/or McCormick software for estimating and bid preparation

  • Manage and oversee electrical projects valued between $1MM and $10MM

  • Supervise and support field operations, including crews of 30 or more personnel

  • Coordinate with field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget

  • Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure scope clarity

  • Support change order pricing and project cost tracking

  • Communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong background in electrical construction estimating and project management

  • Ability to manage multiple bids and active projects simultaneously

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction methods

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
