Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee the direction, completion, and financial performance of complex electrical construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can manage multiple small to medium projects (ranging from $10 million to over $50 million) or a single large-scale project (ranging from $50 million to $150 million+), specifically within the data center market segment.
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead internal teams and collaborate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality electrical projects on time and within budget. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring project managers and assistants while championing innovation, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Define project objectives, establish policies and procedures, and ensure alignment with corporate standards.

Lead and supervise project managers and project assistants, promoting company systems and best practices.

Negotiate and manage all change orders and contract modifications.

Maintain accurate project documentation including logs and reports.

Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution of electrical construction.

Oversee project schedules, budgets, and field operations in collaboration with onsite teams.

Investigate challenges and implement timely corrective actions.

Represent the project at meetings with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Manage all financial aspects including cost reporting, billing, and forecasting.

Foster a culture of innovation and prefabrication to enhance project delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:

8+ years of experience in electrical or general construction project management, preferably with an MEP focus.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop project teams.

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry standards.

Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and budgeting experience.

Experience with data center or large-scale commercial projects preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Oracle, ACC Build, Accubid a plus.

Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across various teams and stakeholders.

High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safety protocols.
Travel Requirements:

100% travel required based on project location.
Working Conditions:

Work will take place on active construction sites and/or in office environments.

Must be able to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
