What We Expect (Essential Functions)

Develop, update, and monitor job progress using project management systems for scheduling, estimating, and budgeting to ensure construction stays aligned with project goals.

Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid solicitations as needed.

Conduct research to support project planning, including materials, methods, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Procure and coordinate delivery of materials, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and adherence to specifications and budgets.

Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and change orders for assigned project scopes.

Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors, confirming that all scope elements are clearly defined and fully covered.

Review vendor and subcontractor shop drawings for conformance with project requirements.

Relocate or travel to job sites when required to support project execution and learn field operations.

Attend weekly job site meetings and assist in preparing reports such as red files, progress updates, schedules, billings, and status summaries.

Organize and maintain project files to ensure continuity of workflow and documentation accuracy.

Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, maintaining positive relationships and timely correspondence.

Support and enforce the company’s safety program and site-specific safety policies.

Perform other duties as assigned to ensure project success.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach, use hands/arms, and communicate clearly.

May occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Must frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Vision must support both close and distance work.

Work occurs in both office and field environments, occasionally exposed to noise, weather, mechanical parts, and construction hazards.

Overtime and travel may be required based on project demands.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Indirectly supervises and coordinates the activities of subcontractors and field personnel to ensure safe, quality, and timely project execution.
